About Jeremy

Three decades of focused lower extremity care.

Jeremy McAllister, BScPT, MHA, is a Chilliwack-based physiotherapist with more than 30 years of experience helping people navigate complex knee, foot, and ankle conditions.

A focused clinical practice.

I've always had something of an engineer's curiosity about the body — an interest in understanding why someone moves the way they do, and what can realistically be changed. Whether it's an evidence-based exercise program, a well-designed brace, or a properly fitted foot orthotic, the right intervention can make a meaningful difference in how someone moves and functions.

Over more than three decades in physiotherapy, my practice has increasingly focused on lower extremity conditions. I've always been drawn to developing deeper expertise in a particular area, and today much of my clinical work involves complex knee, foot, and ankle problems, including evidence-based management of knee osteoarthritis. I also incorporate custom bracing, foot orthotics, and digital health tools where they can improve care or make the treatment process more effective.

My approach is also shaped by experience beyond day-to-day clinical practice. Over the years, I've worked across private practice, professional associations, clinic leadership, consulting, and digital health projects. That broader perspective helps me look beyond an individual treatment or device and consider the whole plan: what is most likely to work, where barriers may arise, and what other options are available when the first approach isn't enough.

Outside of work, I'm happiest spending time with my wife, our grown children, family and friends. I enjoy hiking, getting away to a cabin or the ocean, following the Canucks, and occasionally picking up an old guitar. Those things are also a good reminder of why mobility matters: ultimately, the goal of rehabilitation is to help people get back to the parts of life that are important to them.

Philosophy

A compass does not carry you. It helps you find your way.

That's how I think about my role: helping you understand what's happening, what your options are, and what path forward makes the most sense for your life and your goals.
